ZSL London Zoo
London's biggest and most famous zoo, run by the Zoological Society of London
London Zoo was opened by the Zoological Society of London in 1828. Originally for scientific purposes, the zoo now houses more than 700 species of animals, making it one of the largest in the UK. The Society is actively involved in the conservation of endangered animals, and regularly host exhibitions and charity fundraising events.
