Madame Tussauds
Madame Tussauds, the iconic wax museum in Marylebone
Founded by French artist Anne-Marie Tussaud, what is now an international tourist attraction began as a small collection of works inherited from her father. Marie eventually set up in Marylebone in 1835, with a second room containing relics from the French Revolution: now known as the Chamber of Horrors. Today you'll find waxwork models of everyone from the Queen, to One Direction, to Bollywood stars, as well as a cab ride through London's history: from Henry VIII, through WW2 and beyond.
